Founder and Principal Architect
An artist since childhood, Vardhan’s journey into architecture has been one of passion, persistence, and bold choices. He began studying engineering, following his family’s industrial background, but soon realized his true calling lay in art and design. Taking a courageous step, he left engineering midway to pursue architecture—a decision that brought him closer to his interests.
He went from being an average student to graduating at the top of his class; Vardhan’s dedication and creativity quickly set him apart. Over the years he has won several prestigious international awards, recognized for his innovative, timeless, and context-driven designs.
Vardhan honed his craft under renowned architect Vinu Daniel of Wallmakers, where he deepened his expertise in sustainable building practices. He later led teams at CCBA Designs under the guidance of the late Prof. Christopher Benninger, one of India’s most respected architect
Today, as Founder and Principal Architect at Samani + Partners, Vardhan combines his artistic sensibilities with technical expertise to craft spaces that are sustainable, innovative, and human-centered.
